INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Dr. Yan-Goh Ng has been in the information technology business for more than ten years. A lot of his time has been spent in understanding the business and management problems. From the studies he can then conceptualise a workable and affordable business model with supporting application software.
Dr. Yan-Goh Ng is the founder and Chief Executive of DB Systems.

A range of application software has been developed by the software people in the organisation to cater for general accounting, distribution management, production and inventory control, co-operative management, construction management, property sales management, hire purchase, insurance agency management, multi-level sales management and others. Due to the over divergence of the application software solutions, it becomes difficult for DB Systems to provide the right level of service to ensure total customer satisfaction.Upon reviewing the core competencies and the strengths and weaknesses, it becomes obvious that DB Systems has to re-focus. DB/DMS, the integrated distribution management systems, is the core product and provide the customer base for the company.

On-going efforts have been put in to develop DB/PICS and the Next Wave Enterprise Management Systems (N-WEMS). 

N-WEMS will provide the next generation enterprise resource management systems integrating the front-end and back-end applications through the collaborative computing using the best-of-breed solutions.
